Doesn't anyone find it strange that the City of Toronto has enough money to spend $42.7 million on revamping Nathan Phillips Square and millions of dollars to support revampings of the ROM and the AGO, but doesn't have enough money to fix our roads, clean the garbage from our streets and parks, and extend our subway system? Has our municipal government never heard of the importance of relative values and setting priorities?
